Get creative and learn a new skill at a workshop at Laurel House Craft Studio, held regularly in my bright workroom, surrounded by glorious Devon countryside. All materials are included. If you have a group of 5 or more then you can book a private workshop at a date to suit you. Visit the store page to book a place or contact me directly. Gift vouchers are available for specific workshops or can be left open for participants to choose their preferred choice.

Poppy and Ox-eye Daisy Picture

2nd October 2024 10am-5pm £70
We will cover a whole range of techniques, including free machine embroidery and fabric painting, to produce a vibrant textile picture that is full of texture and 3D flowers.All materials, homemade cake and tea and coffee provided, please bring a packed lunch. Should you wish to frame your finished artwork you will have the option of purchasing a frame and mount.
Experience of using a sewing machine would be helpful.

Botanical Plaster Cast Plaques

6th October 2024 10am-1pm £50

Learn how to use fresh, seasonal foliage and flowers to produce clay moulds, in which we will cast unique artworks which can be hung on a wall or placed on a shelf. There should be time to make 2 pieces each.

Dragonfly Necklace with flower earrings

5th November 2024 10am-12pm £35

An introduction into wirework and bead jewellery techniques. Choose from a selection of glass beads, crystals and lucite flowers. All materials and tools provided.

Everlasting Flower Wreath

19th January 10am-1pm £50 Bring a little sunshine into a January day by making a colourful, dried flower wreath. Using locally grown willow and flowers grown here at Laurel House.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 2 weeks prior to the workshop will be given a full refund or credit note, whichever is preferred.If you cancel within 2 weeks of the workshop you can transfer to another course date or receive a credit note which will be valid for a year. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a workshop.
